Fleas and ticks

This will be pretty useful if it works and isn't too expensive. - a once a month pill to prevent fleas and ticks.

How about a once-a-mth pill for ticks/fleas & birth control esp for that feral cat who is hard to catch ;)
Last week our cat had an injection, an antibotic that works for 2-weeks at local vet clinic. Cat is grouchy, hard to pill & bites.
2 wk-antibotic (if suitable for use) should work for community cats who come-and-go & hard to pill. It is not expensive considering V paste syringe for 1 wk is $20+.

I think we're all hoping for the contraceptive pill for cats. Unfortunately, it's still not been developed yet. P

As a side note...

Here says that some flea and tick medication, usually applied in between a pet's shoulder blades, are under investigation by the EPA. There's a list of products under investigation and Frontline is one of them. Pet owners might want to be careful for now.
