Restaurateur dies

Thanks to Chinky for sending this. I never had a chance to meet Mr Bhavan but I had heard he was very compassionate to the cats. It is also relief to know the cats he has taken in will be well looked after, with his passing.

RIP to a kindred spirit. Glad to read that his friends will continue to take care of his beloved cats.

I have a newspaper clipping of him sitting on the floor amont the cats that he was taking care of during the SARS outbreak and when he picked up even more cats to prevent them from being culled. He was 52 then and a very nice looking guy. I thought highly of him then as I do now for such a kind soul. May he rest in peace.

Yes I have that article too. I wonder how many people took in cats durin SARS? I've heard of quite a few stories. They may not all have taken in quite so many but it'd be interesting to see.

I was trying to search for that article with the photo of this kind man sitting with the cats. Can Anonymous 10.07 upload it somewhere?
