The Bible on Animals

I mentioned once that it would be very useful to have a compilation of what the different religions say about animals. One of the churches here had a very useful brochure but here's an online version of what the Bible says about animals. If anyone knows of any other religious tracts online that mention animals, please do send me the link! This can be useful when any of you go out mediating for example.

Islam is in essence a very animal friendly religion. AYAT (verse in the Koran) 6:38 " All the beasts that roam the earth and all the birds that wing their flight are but communities like your own. We have left out nothing in the Book. They shall all be gathered before their Lord."

Oh, this has come in handy at the right time. At our last bible study session, a fellow animal-lover brought up that the new testament do not mention much about animals and their welfare. Someone attempted to explain certain stuff but we were still quite hazy about the whole thing. Well, am going to forward this article to them, Thanks!

All creatures are God's creation.
They should be respected.

Thank you eslina! I think all religions do speak about compassion for animals, but it'd be very helpful to have that information handy!
