I hope his remark that he fears the vanishing of cats from sterilisation will not deter caregivers from continuing tnrm. This seems to a common misconception.
CWS should write to clarify that this is not true.
That's a good point Anonymous - I somehow missed seeing that and you're absolutely right. A lot of people seem to have the misconception that all the cats will 'disappear'. It's not as if caregivers want to sterilise cats just for the sake of it (and because they LOVE sterilising) but because they want to prevent cats from dying. Once the number of cats has stabilised, caregivers would be the first ones to sit back and stop sterilising, and get to relax :)
